Hey! 
First off, I'm from Ireland, been here a year now!
I'm a grad student living in Vancouver . . . a more prestigious student lol! I'm not overly nerdy but like good conversations/debates the odd time, as well as crazy random chit chat.
I'm pretty laid back, work hard and play hard kind of guy. Not into the scene and am just a typical bloke, no BS here, what ya see is what you get! My taste in music centres around the Beatles but really I am into the 80s, I may have been a toddler then but its awesome, dont judge me just based in that!
Being a grad student I think of myself as organized and goal orientated, the one thing I really feel that I lack right now are some stable friends outside of work (que POF profile!), I just have not really met any nice people here in Vancouver. That can weigh on you a bit, seen as I have so many back home (sigh). I'm an upbeat person who is rarely in a bad mood, life is too short for whining!
Consider myself a person open to new things and I try to do something different everyday (no matter how small).
Vancouver is awesome so I am not going to ramble on about hobbies . . . kinda season dependent. At the moment I have my bike and running to keep me busy plus I love camping. So much to see so little time!
Looking to hang out with as many different people possible, who doesnt like variety packs?
