About Me
Hey, I'm James. Not really sure what to say about myself, but I will try my best.
I've been born and raised in the Comox Valley, which has it's ups and downs. I work at a pub, even though it can get frantic sometimes, I enjoy the service industry, dealing with a bunch of different people everyday really gets you to meet people from all walks of life. Eventually I hope to get into full time bar-tending, because getting the odd "cover me" shift, doesn't nearly wet my social appetite. My official position is an expeditor,which basically means I run food, but one day, the spotlight of bar-tending will be mine! Mwahahaha!
With that maniacal laugh out of the way, it's safe to tell you that it's my humor that's a little odd, not me I swear! Truth be told, I'm a really a laid back guy outside of work, laying on the couch watching a good movie sounds like a great night to me. I do tend to feed off of other people's energy though. So if you are about to click away from my profile saying "Great, he's a couch potato", think again, because I will be able to keep up with you during anything!
As for my hobbies, well they all seem to go under the category of sports that aren't really sports. Golfing during the spring and summer, I'm not any good at it whatsoever but because on a nice sunny day, what's better than a cold beverage, and a nice walk...along with a bunch of cursing which seem to be a given when you pick up some clubs. Secondly, is the game of Pool. I love it! Been playing since I was 19, been in the league in the valley for the last 3 years in a row, and I seem to be the most relaxed when playing the game(Outside of League, because that gets really stressful) So the best way to really get to know me, is by spending the day around a pool table and having a few drinks.
I've always been an advocate of "no games" when it comes to trying to be in a relationship. Being straight up with someone, is always the best policy, even if it doesn't turn out the way you want it to, it's for the best. It just seems lies, or manipulation, turns everything into a drama snowball, that eventually flattens everything and everyone, so if you do get to know me, and it comes down to it, just be honest. Leave the snowballs alone until we have an awesome snowball fight in the winter!
On a final note, don't be afraid to message me, I don't bite! Seriously, all that would do at this point is hurt my teeth and wreck my laptop screen!
