Originally born and raised in Western New York, I moved out to San Diego over eight years ago as a means to pursue a career in the field I love. It has been an outstanding adventure so far, and I consider myself fortunate to be able to indulge in the sun and warmth this coast has to offer. Don't let that fool you though - I retain my soft spot for the friends, family, and even the blustery snow of home, and will always consider myself a Buffalonian at heart.
Personality wise I am definitely a gregarious guy that loves learning about new people and sharing great stories. I consider myself open and fairly adventurous, and am always excited to try new experiences. Diligent and driven, I am just as ardent about my professional life as I am about the activities I pursue outside the office.
Speaking of which, I enjoy getting into mischief with friends, finding new spots to get a good cup of coffee or cold craft beer, having a good old-fashioned game night, and taking advantage of the outdoors exploring the area’s various hiking trails. I am also a fan of indulging in nice quiet evenings in (when they are available), catching up on all manner of neglected books and movies.
Having grown up amongst a tremendous local scene, music has always been a large part of my life. Nothing beats stumbling across an exciting new sound - whether that happens seeing a live show, taking a chance on a cool looking album in a lost bin of some old record shop, or engaging in a good back and forth swapping song references with a friend. My tastes are eclectic, but my present playlists include bands like: St. Paul and the Broken Bones, The New Pornographers, Sloan, Gary Numan, The Raveonettes, and on and on...
I would be remiss if I didn’t mention I love to cook as well, and take great joy in trying out new recipes, ingredients, and kitchen gadgets. Eating out at new restaurants, or enjoying old favorites, is definitely fantastic… but nothing beats the satisfaction of savoring a meal made with your own two hands, especially when you can share it with the people you care about.
With all that said, my hope here is to find someone special interested in sharing some great adventures (in whatever form they may come). I am a fairly open book, so if you fancy a story or two feel free to say hello…
