They say that laughter is the best medicine... unless you are diabetic, then insulin is.
Goals and aspirations this year:
1) Go on my very last first date.
2) Never log on the this site again.
Allow me to wax poetic about how wonderful I am... or not.
I used to be a professional musician and was lucky enough to travel to some pretty cool places whether it be driving around the country or working on several cruise ships and going to exotic ports of call.
This put the travel bug in me and I can't wait to check out more new and exciting places!
I decided to go back into restaurant management so that I could be close to my kids.
In my off time I enjoy activities such as cycling, golf, swimming, camping, racquet sports etc, going for a nice long walk, or just hanging out at home, catching a flick and making a nice meal for that special someone (did I mention I can cook?).
I love checking out new restaurants, different ethnic cuisines, try new wines or new recipes. It seems my tv has been stuck on the Food Network for quite some time and I love it!
Oh, and I have perhaps an unhealthy obsession with Vietnamese pho. It is quite possibly the world's most perfect food! So of course I had to learn how to make it. That and sushi. :)
I have a healthy sense of humour that can be described as sardonic with a good dose of self deprecation.
I like to find the humour in almost any situation, even if it's at my expense.
I'm looking for an intelligent, witty girl who can be goofy but also knows how to be a lady (this doesn't mean wearing your 'good' sweats for a night on the town)
She would need to be very independant and comfortable in her own skin (the clingy need not apply). :P
I am not looking for a specific type but more for chemistry. That ever elusive spark that attracts two people and transcends everything else.
I'm not here to find a "long term relationship" per se, I am here to meet people. Maybe one day I'll meet someone and a relationship will develop. Maybe. Hopefully. That's the goal, not the expectation.
It would be nice to come home to someone or have someone come home to me (and have supper ready on the table for ya).
So if you can handle a goofy, guitar playing, gourmet cooking, amazing massage giving, intelligent....genius even (well not mad scientist evil genius but more like benign, good genius) all around swell fellow, send me a note.

Basically, it's made up of two separate words "mank" and "ind."
What do these words mean? It's a mystery and that's why so is mankind.
