Hi, thank you for stopping to read my profile.
I have noticed that many people in POF write their profiles saying how intelligent, attractive and amazing they are... hmmm... who are we to judge ourselves in such subjective qualities?
If you love the beach + music + film + food + appreciate the arts, other cultures, and the simple things of life, we may have something in common.
A few things about me: I am a down to earth playful guy (not "a player") who likes the outdoors. I like to spend a fair amount of time out there when the weather is good. I don't watch much TV. I love film though; prefer the non main stream and foreign ones; they are my two hour trip to somewhere alse... I am a traveler not a tourist (although need to travel more), I like taking the roads less traveled… I love the beach but also love places where can experience rich cultures and history. Having said so, sometime in the future I would like to live in a warm place by the sea, maybe 6 months a year... I love music and live music. I prefer the smaller venues rather than the big concerts. About food I would choose a smaller "ethnic" restaurant (or a cool yummy smaller one)... I do like dancing; the club scene has long gone for me so I don't mind dancing in a party or in a warmer intimate space like a restaurant with live music. Salsa is a lot of fun... I am also happy to stay home, cook, eat and drink wine while listening to great music... friends and a good conversation are always welcome. I grew up in a loving family. My friends are from different backgrounds, professions and trades.

I appreciate simple things in life and genuine, real people. I am looking for a life partner with or without children... although I would like to have kids, at this point of life I am flexible for the right woman.
Things important to me are: friends, family, integrity, loyalty, compassion, communication, confidence, being ourselves, sense of humour, sincerity, open minds, good taste, health, a fit body, a fit mind, curiosity and FUN.
In the Chinese Zodiac I am an Earth Monkey... I think it describes pretty well my personality... I am a spontaneous monkey ready to settle down though : )
