I have a happy life, and consider myself lucky to have great friends and family. I have been in Vancouver for a number of years, and after moving around, travelling and living in other places, I know I'm lucky to live here. I love the ocean, and the lifestyle that Vancouver gives us. Only thing is that its not that easy to meet people here. Hence, pof. Maybe there's a solution for everything.
I like travel and experiencing different parts of the world. A good travel adventure helps me put things in perpsective. I'm not a great planner, so have ended up in various places sometimes on a whim. I also think its important to notice the little adventures in everyday life. You don't always need to go far away to notice something new and unique.
I love the water, swimming in it, kayaking on it, or just sitting listening to the sounds and smells of the waves. I love the outdoors, and prefer to get my excercise when I can, outside the gym, running, swimming, yoga, paddling. But the gym does have its advantages when the weather is bad. My health is important to me, eating well (minus a few vices like coffee) is a part of it, but I'm not obsessive.
I like someone who can be spontaneous and adventurous; someone who knows the value of a good belly laugh; and someone intelligent, open minded and kind. Someone with confidence is really attractive, as is an an ability to be a bit goofy every once in a while. Vain or schmoozy is not appealing.
I'm not looking for a clone. I think its important to have things in common for certain, but I think the happiest people compliment each other's strengths and weaknesses. It can also provide exposure to new things, or some healthy independent adventure to hear about later. Or maybe this is just my way of breaking it to you that I'm not a skiier.
While being the centre of attention isn't my thing, I think its probably best to tell you something positive... I'm loyal, honest, generous, strong, and maybe / hopefully a little bright (though that's a relative term); maybe I'll just leave it at, I think I've spelled things right here. If you want a real girly girl, unfortunately its not me (ie I wouldnt' be devastated if I went out without makeup, and I haven't ever walked the sea wall with spiked heels on). Actually, I would be insulted if you called me one. On the plus side, you won't be waiting for me forever while I do my nails before going out, or carry me home when I break my ankle in the spiked heels on the seawall ;-). That said, I am a girl and do dress the part.
Funny enough, there seems to be a substantial number of cowboy hats and cars in the photos on this site. I'm not in the market to buy a new car, nor do I need someone to wrangle my cattle, but wish you luck none the less.
