About Me
Profile was OLD! :) Until I think of what I want to say here, here's some of my profile from ok cupid:

I am inquisitive, underutilized, and mostly harmless.

My Self-Summary
I am a curious person, always probing with words--sticking raw ideas out to see how another interprets them and expands on them.

I love to tinker and play. I could build a speaker or a Gauss gun even a vibrator with the stuff I have on my desk. I write code for fun. I like to watch whole series or seasons of shows I like at a time, staying up way too late--one more episode, I promise... I like to talk about the things I learn, read or play. I think just about anything is interesting. I love explaining the universe to my children, again and again as they absorb a bit each time. I love dogs. I like to jam with friends. I like to play random melodies on the guitar.

What I’m doing with my life
working in the software industry, perhaps spinning off some ideas of my own.

I’m really good at
making stuff work

The first things people usually notice about me
( I'll have to ask some people, but for now, a guess ) I have plenty to say. I am quiet. I ask a lot of questions. I appear standoffish, but I am just shy--I warm up quickly.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books) Terry Goodkind, Neil Stephenson, fond memories of Robert Heinlien, Isaak Asimov, Orson Scott Card, Vonnegut, Moorcock, Stephen King, even Koontz, I love horror ( anthologies rule )
I couldn't live without ProjectGutenberg.org, it archives thousands of books that are in the public domain... From there I have read anything from****ns, Mark Twain, Darwin, Homer, Nietzsche, Kafka to cool old books on Yoga(theory, practice, discipline more than exercises), Buddhism you name it... I like to read of hidden knowledge that isn't really hidden, though it is only accessible with prior understanding/perspective.

Movies) Tarantino(Kill Bill rules, Reservoir Dogs a favorite), pi, Requiem for a Dream, Fifth Element, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, Fight Club, etc... I like documentaries (Sicko, Supersize Me, Who Killed the Electric Car, etc...) Inspiring (The Secret, What the Bleep, blanks...) Comedies Action anything lol...

Music) c89.5, industrial, Modest Mouse, Tool, Soundgarden, Death Cab, Gruntruck, Janes Addiction... not that I really listen to any of that, but thats what I like. I love music, even play music, but typically I choose silence and my thoughts :)

Food) I love burritos.. Homemade or Acupulco Fresh, Qdoba, Oobas, even Taco del Mar... love 'em. Pizza. Green Salsa. Hummus-n-pita. I could easily be vegetarian and perhaps will again, but I do love a good burger and bacon and could not live without eggs.

TV) Legend of the Seeker, Lost, Flashforward, True Blood, Doctor Who, Being Human, Amazing Race, DWTS, Food Network, Discovery, History, Star Trek, Twilight Zone, AFV, Police Chase, Smoking Gun Dumbest

The six things I could never do without
Burritos
Lighter
Flips
Socks (not with flips)
Eggs
Occasional ice cold Coke

First Date
Probably coffee or a drink, shoot some pool--something interactive.
