I'm a restlessly curious dabbler and wanderer. I come in peace from the surreal quasi-democratic island nation of Singapore. Once upon a time a major in the fairly useless field of English Literature, I'm in the process of remaking myself into an evolutionary psychologist/anthropologist. I'm trying to learn taiko drumming. Also trying to improve my drawing, juggling, and unicycling.
[incidentally, this entire profile is basically a copy & paste of my ok cupid profile robotjazz. What can I say, laziness is in my nature.]
What I'm doing with my life
Investigating that funny thing called 'human nature'... I like this quote (from Giulio Giorello in conversation with Dan Dennett) "Yes, we have a soul, but it's made up of lots of tiny robots".
When not engaging in scientific endeavours, I am busy working on surefire projects to make a billion dollars muy pronto. Now taking investments for the following:
(a) Kafka: the Theme Park
(b) Tuvan Throat Singing Hero
(c) Calvin & Hobbes Family Restaurant: Slugs are a dish best served cold.

Incidentally, I'm incredibly amused at PlentyofFish's automatic censoring system. For example, I like ****tails, but hate ****roaches. (translation: I enjoy drinks involving mixed alcoholic fluids, but dislike filthy pests).
