About Me
Currently I am a guy who is helping a couple guys get their books published... Not a publisher, just helping with Writing a little, book layout & design and illustrations. It gives me the opportunity to work on my books and other projects. I'm working on a historical book, a Da Vinci Code meets Lord of the Rings... in a way. (It follows a genealogy line that takes the readers through time-while following the adventure of the reader) Writing has become the most important goals for me right now.

But to let those that are interested in on who I am, I will give a brief background. Although I feel that people who talk about themselves, usually are the only ones, talking about them. But I know, we are here, and if I don't let you in on who I am or what I'm about, no one will.

So, quickly, I was an athlete, through High School and College, an All American, who went to 5 High Schools in 3 Years in 3 States. Although I was born here in Cali, I graduated HS in Idaho, Preston, to be exact, and for those that have seen Napoleon Dynamite... It was the same small town HS that was filmed at.

After leaving college early, I went into the Air Force and became an Air Traffic Controller. spent seven years doing that, and in a tower in Utah at Hill AF base, I created a cartoon Character... Jack Diamond.

When I got out, I came back to Cali and started my art career. From there I have done things from designing graphics, and apparel for the major Surf companies to designing my own line "Gypsy Angel" which was written up in WWD "Women's Wear Daily" and "Apparel News". Apparently I was credited for a major roll in bringing back the low rider bell bottom. My line of Gypsy and Hippie wear with low rider jeans and peasant blouses hit the market about 6 months ahead of the trend back in 2001. I will admit though, the women in the fabric stores got a kick out of me, they would always wonder why this big construction worker looking guy, was so interested in silk & lace?

My company has done every thing from Designing and manufacturing Trade Show Exhibits, to helping people start their own lines of clothing, with Graphics, fashion and advertising. My clients have been Ocean Pacific, Billabong, Hurley, O'neill... to Budweiser and Jack Daniel's.

I have designed things from furniture to chrome parts for Harley's. And these have given me opportunity to travel all over China, Taiwan, Europe, Canada and more.

But, like I was saying earlier, now it's the writing.. and my cartooning. I have done a lot of Lampoons of 2008's election and still working on fun subjects of the Obama presidency and our current political and economic situation.

As far as who I am inside, I'm Spiritual. Not big on religious dogma, but I am the type of person who respects all people and all views. I believe if someone is getting the spiritual guidance they need at what ever church they go to, is great.

My favorite saying is. "Let your Mind Surrender to the Wisdom of your Heart."

This online dating is a tricky thing I think. People all view it differently, some are here to hurry and find a relationship, some to just date a lot, some to find friends.. There are all kinds. My approach is to make friends, contacts and if something from one of these friendships develop into something more thats great. I am not one that likes to date a lot of girls at once. But I also don't like jumping into things.. although I can't say that has never happened before. But one would like to think, eventually, one would learn by their mistakes.

I'm not a judgmental type, I don't care how someone spells, or how their grammar is. I would rather read an interesting and fun book that has a bunch of typos... then a boring book that is all proper.

I know there is some sort of formula when meeting someone new... 30% attraction, 20% intelligence, 40% personality, 10% differences... or how ever the math works out.... We all look at a lot of different things.

Friends... Coffee... make it simple.... see where it goes.

First Date
hmmmm well, atleast laugh and have a great conversation.... The second date will be interesting.

My take on this internet dating thing is that it is actually an internet meeting place. It really isn't dating, that comes next if you meet someone that you match up with and you find that spark, than begin that dating process. Or just become new friends?

It seems to me that too many people think all this e-mailing is dating and getting to know each other. 6 months of e-mailing can go down the drain in one minute of actual face to face conversation. Or not? but the thing is, POF... good place to meet someone you otherwise, may not have. But the real dating, doesn't start, until after you meet. OK, my point of view
