I love to travel when I can, explore new food, cultures and music. I'm a nature kid at my core and a performance art lover, especially music, live shows and theater/movies. If you can make me laugh, that will go waaaay further than how you look in a skirt. I need more personality; more cowbell.
I'm looking for someone who doesn't take themselves too seriously, an intelligent gal who has her life together to some degree and values family; her own and others. I am a sucker for athletic, creative and/or a good sense of humor.
I prefer women without children but mom says not to limit myself. Mom also says G-D bless the woman who puts up with me (in jest) so I guess I have my baggage too and I shouldn't be so picky. Don't worry, mom shares insight/wisdom but I'm not a mommas boy other than loving my momma=) Big bonus points if you play tennis or are willing to learn. Really there's nothing sexier than a person willing to try new things, whatever it is. I love the ocean in the summertime and just being on the beach and down the shore. Hope you're amphibic around water. I like a woman who isn't afraid to get her hair wet and may just run into the water with me at any given moment.
I like to remain active. Running errands or running literally, I'm always on the move. Lift things at la fitness as well as Spin, pilates and yoga classes there. I'm also into theatre, culture, Scramble w/ and Chess w/ Friends. You can find me there under "BreakingAtoms."
I like the arts, whether it be theatre, live music, festivals, comedy or movies. I'm not a huge tv person but I know that if I watch 3 minutes of Law&Order, i'm hooked for the show. I do really like Whose Line Is It, The Office, King of Queens, New Adventures/Old Christine, Sons of Anarchy, the Carson Daly Show. Wait maybe I'm more into TV than I thought, but I'm more of the catch it when I catch it type. I should also mention that I'm really into Homeland, Newsroom, Inside Man, Vice, Boardwalk, Thrones, East Bound & Down and ok, I'll admit it, True Blood, from the longevity of the show.
I'm very approahable but for an easy icebreaker, tell me the last music you bought/DL'd or live show you were at. I know you shouldn't end a sentence with a preposition but I'm not correcting it, you'll live.
I'm at the point in my life where I'm just open and want to learn new things. Basically, I'm not placing limitations on characteristics, but I know the kind of woman i'm looking for. If you think we may get along, say hello.
**I do have pet peeves with poor spelling, especially: there/their, to/too, etc., bathroom photos, bad teeth and old pictures. These are all deal breakers, sorry!**
First date? Hmmm....It could be a coffee/tea or drink. I think first meetings should generally be brief just so we can meet, talk for a few and then both decide if we should have an official date.
The 2nd date could be dinner, a museum or something active is always a good ice-breaker. Movies are a no-no at first, but we can talk about them waaaaay before.
