About Me
I have many passions and interests. One of my passions is art. I am a painter and have had many of my pieces displayed in various galleries and art shows. Recently I won an award in a juried art show and have had my paintings made into prints for sale. I'm also an avid reader. Most recently I enjoyed reading On Mystic Lake by Kristin Hannah, One Day by David Nicholls and The Awakening by Kate Chopin. I love trying new things and my taste in music is really wide. I listen to pop, rock, blues and anything else I can get my hands on. Recently I've enjoyed listening to Adele, Kings of Leon, Maroon 5, Arcade Fire, John Mayer, Katy Perry, Bruno Mars, Fleet Foxes, Florence + the Machine to name just a few. I suppose I may be a little unique in that I'm one guy who actually loves romantic movies. Pride and Prejudice, The Notebook and Serendipity are a few of my favorites.
I enjoy cooking and was once a sous-chef in a gourmet restaurant. I keep myself in shape by swimming laps and I relax by getting out in nature and taking long walks in the woods. I hope to find a woman I can connect with and perhaps spend time together. My wife and I are friends but we never connected in the way that both of us long for and its time to move on and find new possibilities and new connections. I believe I have a lot to offer and I'm motivated to be a good friend and perhaps more to someone also looking to connect whether by email or in person. I realize my situation is unusual and it takes a special person willing to take a chance. I hope you may be that person. :)
