Hmmm.... I'm very much a contradiction. I can be very boring, liking to play games on my computer or console or read a book for hours, but then I can be pretty fun, trying/doing things most people don't. I have sky dived, done horse riding, scuba, mountain climbing, road trips, fencing, kendo, stage acting and more. My music tastes are the same. I rock Eminem and Bach. Clapton and Coldplay. Indy-rock and commercial country. I love to talk, I love to listen even more. I'm pretty nerdy, being into books and movies, games and gaming, D&D and WoW, comics and sci-fi, but also incredibly "guy"... I love football, I practice martial arts (and have since I was 12), I love UFC and sports in general... I don't know... entering my 30s I occasionally spend time looking back and wondering and am really looking to look forward. Maybe I'll update this later....
...and it's later... recently started going back to school to finish my degree out (FINALLY) and am uber sensitive/upset over the fact that I am trying to lose the slight chubbiness I gained when I last hurt my knee... *frown* I know I shouldn't be, but... darnit, I'm "plain" enough
I haven't had a "date" date in a long time, so I'd love to have a date, but also, I' love to make some new friends! All my old ones moved! Seriously! Like everyone packed up for Austin or Oklahoma! (ok, a few in Arlington) So friendship.. AWESOME... if a "spark" is there... well.. wow, double down, for me.
Finally (don't want this to be toooo long, but...) I have some cool (dorky) roommates, but I live in THE MOST AWESOMESAUCE house... it's a geodesic dome with a spiral staircase.. I love my house.
I'm not really a club guy... and I love movies but I don't want to be boring (although the 'big' dorky movies... Avengers anyone? I'm SOOOO down for)...soooo..... my weapon of choice for a first 'date' would be probably the Kimball art museum. Walk around, look at art, maybe wind up at a BarnesNoble for post art coffee or something... (cliche, but thats a comfortable cliche)
