About Me
...and then there were two. You meet someone, you always maintained now you would start as friends. What do you do when you feel warm fuzzies, pitter patters and have that melting feeling for him during 'staring as friends'?..Hmmmmmmmmmm,,is your past making this much too complicated to even feel?
It could happen like this: We get a good sense on here, then the phone, of how we 'tick' and sense something very nice about the communication and feeling we have; but we know the reality is in actually meeting and seeing how it goes. We choose to meet and that feeling is better. We feel so comfortable; just like there is a cloud around both of us. Now, just imagine that feeling actually better as each day continues with that same person.
Ongoing summers at our family cottage developed a love for the outdoors which I believe truly helped in shaping my down to earth, boy next door, personality. I was raised in a loving Christian family (non-bible thumping I might add; I can't believe these days that needs to even be mentioned to try to tell someone you're not a fanatic). Watching my father love my mother and vice versa was a wonderful uprising that showed me the proper way of how to treat a woman. I always had many friends and learned how to socialize and care for people of all ages. Of course summertime gives that romantic (I'm a true romantic) feeling during the day on the water and at night by the water under the stars, hiking in the woods, a lot of activities and day trips to wherever which continue all year. Communication, care, nutty and non-nutty lol humour are huge for me. Hopefully you too.
Everything in my life history involved interacting with people on many levels in some way. I've worked in human service type jobs for many years with children and adults from all over the world. My passion is truly wishing to add something positive and different. I've played many sports for years including being a 2nd round draft pick and had a few professional football tryouts in the Canadian Football League. I've also coached teens and young adults for many years including with the Special Olympics. Now that is joy and seeing goals accomplished and so much more. I'm university educated with a Bachelor of Arts (Social Services) degree and an Honours Bachelor of Physical and Health Education degree. I've also lived in many cities and countryside settings across Canada so I can definitely relate to many environments and a variety of people personalities.
I'm 6'0", 205 pounds, 55 years of age and moved to the Chatham-Kent ON area April/09 from London ON to be closer to my 8 year old son who currently lives with his mother in Chatham to be more active in his life. No, reconciliation is not to be. It is sad that families can't get their act together but that happens for so many of course. I mainly have my son with me every second weekend and am at his activities and sports (hockey, soccer, swimming, etc.) so obviously a lot of time for you and I to grow together. Oh, NO PROBLEMS whatsoever in dealing with his mother regarding our son ...so no worry at ALL in that regard as all is very peaceful and no issues.
This paragraph is where many love the idea of it, love it in movies, cheer for the person doing it; but how far would you go to defend another adult or child wrongfully treated? This is also written because I seek someone that truly understands this sort of thing; while many do not. My passion of care and love extends to where people like myself started diminishing after the 1960s; when more people seeing injustices including racism became less willing to take personal risk to stand up when organizations placed human respect and care secondary to overall priorities that diminished concern of how people were treated. Heck, it could be your family I would stand up for depending on what the issue is. This paragraph is written for more reasons than to just discuss employment; more about my passion of care against injustice. I worked in a large organization serving people including adults and children facing challenges, saw injustice and self-serving prejudice, made allegations according to an office Code of Conduct re. procedures and continued to challenge the organization when doing nothing about it and was coerced to resign. I am currently working full time in another customer service field. I continue to be sad that so many would not do the same when knowing information that could help because of the biggest challenge to so many in life; which is fear and insecurity. Mind you everyone has their reasons.
My motivation is my Christian faith that gives me purpose in helping in this world and specifically one on one with a person. Oh dear, there run all those that assume I'm a bible thumper, hypocrit and simply naive of life lol. It is truly sad and highly troubling that the most common denominator I have personally found of why people may have rejected this faith after being introduced to it has nothing to do with Christianity; but moreso being turned off by the few or various people calling themselves Christian who showed them the most hypocritical, judgemental, negative attitudes that do nothing more than turn people off from the faith itself. Frankly, people who claim to be Christian and act judgemental, hateful and completely hypocritical are showing complete hypocrisy to how Christians should behave or think.
Any Christian girl next door sweethearts here? While I come on here with hope of finding 'her' at times I do engage in chats and a profile may have something in it that is interesting to discuss.

First Date
I believe the most beautiful setting for a first date is something very natural; however, this would be what you and I would choose we wish to share together. Sitting or walking by water or walking in the woods and just enjoying our company and nature gives that wonderful environment that is so peaceful. Just imagine if we had a bottle of wine to add to the ambiance. Many can feel very awkward just sitting and having coffee for the first time (only looking at each other may be awkward if not that immediate chemistry of course and sometimes even if there depending on personality) and additional stimuli such as water, a park, etc. can make it more natural overall. This can still be discussed, of course, by you and I in setting up the meeting and how we both feel is most comfortable.
