About Me
I'm the type of person who tends toward shyness at first but will talk your ear off once I know you. I'm a very physical person if I'm attracted to someone. Ive depleted my supply of anger and jealousy, these days I just get irritated. I'm a true country boy and think of any town with more than a few hundred people as a city.
I really want children but past relationships have always been with women who had children and didn't want more, didn't want children at all, or the relationships weren't serious enough to have children. What will be will be I guess so the ability to have kids isn't a requirement, it's just a wish.
I'm kind of a homebody but will go out if it's what a mate wants me to. I can be happy as a clam sitting with a loved one by the lake on a quiet summer evening or laying on the couch together watching a movie on those cold winter nights. I'm the kind of man who dreams of actually sitting down at the table for dinner with my family as discussion and bonding time. I'm not afraid of washing dishes or doing laundry and actually enjoy them if I have someone to share those duties with me.
Intelligence in a woman is desirable. She doesn't need to be a Ph.D. but I would like to be able to have an intelligent conversation with her every once in a while. I love going out driving the country roads at night and talking together for hours about anything, everything, and nothing.
I'm kind of unusual and like me that way. Some say my sense of humor crosses the line well into the bizarre but that's OK too. My taste in movies leans toward surreal things like Jacobs Ladder or What Dreams may come. My all time favorite sci fi movie was a quirky flick from way back in the 70s called Silent Running. As far as my musical tastes are concerned I'm kind of a heavy metal hillbilly. I like country but my first love is heavy metal. I guess I like to switch things up to confuse the neighbors.
Perfection isn't a word that can be used to describe me but I am an honest and loyal man who wants something substatial and real. I'll stick by the woman I love through thick and thin and love her unconditionally. Most of all I'll be her friend. I'm haven't got a nice comfy life to give to someone so if that's what you're looking for you may as well keep looking. I prefer to build a life with someone. I just feel that building a life with someone helps to build a bond between two people and makes the emotional investment far more valuable.

First Date
My ideal first date is something simple. I would probably pick up and go to a bonfire at a friends home if it's warm outside. Once there my female friends will likely drag you off and make you feel right at home as they tell you all my filthy little secrets.
