Hello! I'm yet another guy working a 9-5 job looking for a special lady in his life.
My friends describe me as laid-back, easy to talk to and a good listener. I have lived in North Vancouver for a 23 years and really love it here. I have invested 14 years in a career in the dental field that I enjoy immensely.
I typically spend my leisure time trying new restaurants & pubs. Finding an awesome little hole in the wall every now and again is so rewarding. I also like spending time with friends/family, watching movies, being out on the water, cooking at home, live music, travelling and reading occasionally.
Movies I've enjoyed include: Super Troopers,The Transporter I, Predator, Grandma's Boy, Harold & Kumar I, Fahrenheit 9/11, The World According to Monsanto and Manufactured Landscapes. When it comes to the small screen some of the show I keep up to date with are Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead.
Some of my favorite rock bands include: Led Zeppelin, Muse, Cream, Sam Roberts, Van Halen, The Killers, Pink Floyd. When I was younger I really enjoyed attending popular rock concerts. I've been to so many shows I've lost count of who i've seen.
I've been doing some travelling in the last few years. I've been to south america a couple times, europe once and Hawaii once. I would like to go back to europe and tour Italy next.
To tell you the truth I don't read books that often. But when the mood strikes I enjoy either absurd comedies or exposes on interesting peoples lives. The last two books I read were "The Zombie Survival Guide" and "Hells Angels Into The Abyss".
I've found that it's not meeting people that is the biggest obstacle in dating... but meeting someone compatible. A match for me would have to have more than one important quality. First off, physical attraction is a given, but beyond that I want to be impressed by her intellect, share in her humour, be inspired by her positivity and feel the strength of her support.
Some random thoughts I oftenfind buzzing around in my head. What does the future hold for humankind. Will there ever be an end to wars? Will we colonize the stars? Will we survive what we are doing to the planet? I'm sure I will never know the answers to these questions in my lifetime... but I can't help wondering.
