About Me
...just looking for friends to meet and do things....
some of the things i like are rockabilly, jazz, blues, opera, plays, history, punk rock, nice people, ice cream, county fairs, art galleries, bookstores, science, movies, documentaries, the ocean, art deco architecture, the history of los angeles and southern california, political discussions, poetry readings, the stars, the moon, traveling, writing, painting, drawing, making random things, learning to make things (i wish i was an electrical engineer or a mechanic then i could make a lot more things), coffee shops, public gardens, tiny hole in the wall restaurants that only locals know about, friendly pubs....
i used to have a longer profile, but for some reason the things i wrote kept being misinterpreted, so i'm not sure if keeping things simple is any easier.
i'm sincere. i'm interested in meeting people for many different reasons. i'm don't really like to put people in boxes with expectations and stereotypes, all of us have had hard experiences, challenges, some of us have weathered the storm perhaps a bit better than others, but i think people use what means are at their disposal both within their own character and outside in their environment and although i may have an opinion about it, it's really not my place to judge people, i try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt and hope that they might also do the same for me
