A completely different breed than the average norm. I am not a very outgoing person (usually get shy or quiet in public places), but behind all that shyness is a guy with good old fashioned family and moral values, a great sense of humor, and genuinely cares about the people he shares his life with. Be forewarned, I am also a smartass. If you can appreciate this, kudos. if not, then no need to proceed further. Please also note I am 420 friendly, but do not consider it any more a drug than a beer or a glass of wine. please also consider that just because its a taste of mine, I am not trying to force it upon you nor am i trying to bring it somewhere where it is not welcome. It's something I'm not trying to hide. My brutal honesty may cost me in the long run, but it is my opinion that HONESTY IS EVERYTHING, and I hope you can appreciate that much.
I have been blessed with a loving and caring family which is, in my opinion, more precious than being wealthy enough to have whatever i want. A little something I call "Unconditional Love." My family passed it on to me, and I will pass it on to my only son. I have a son who is 5 now, that I get to spend time with on weekends and whenever I get a day off from work. Being a dad has been a life changing experience to say the least, but I have enjoyed every moment of it and learned how to live life without any regrets.
My grandparents have been together for over 50 years now, and that kind of devotion has affected my opinion of a committed relationship with someone. Since this isn't common practice in today's society, I'm not actively looking for anything serious. I'm not saying I am giving up, I'm just saying that when I do find that special someone, I want it to be for life. I get along great with all my family and hope the people i meet have received this same blessing in their lives.
I enjoy mostly country (red dirt underground over mainstream. long live Hank III and Robert Earl Keen), SOME techno/trance (so long as there is as little amount of vocals as possible), Rock, and some r&b, depends on my mood mostly.
I am a professional painter, with 10 seasons of exterior residential experience. Worked Construction as a kid, and did allot of miscellaneous handyman type work (electrical, plumbing, etc). I am currently living in Anchorage, Alaska. Saving up to move out towards Talkeetna territory, getting my own piece of land and building my own house. letting my son have the chance to grow up in wild Alaska like I did. :D
There aren't allot of people who call me a friend, but those who really know me know. that country song "you find out who your friends are" (Tracy Lawrence, Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney) sums me up to a T. I seek to fill my life with people that live their lives the same way. I am who I am, but I AM an awesome guy and a wonderful person. Anyone who says different, it's a sign that I should not meet you or you just aren't ready to meet someone like me. either way, Life is too short.
