About Me
Let's see...I'm a public school teacher looking for someone I can make laugh and who is down to earth. Right now I'm thinking about a social work degree or a PhD. But my career ideas change every few months...I have an eclectic taste in music, love jazz, listen to classical and am now exploring indie rock. Feist is great. I love stand-up comedy and comedy in general. My favorite thing in the world is making people laugh, even if I'm not always successful. Since I was young I've wanted to be something of a Renaissance Man, at least in the sense that I want to learn something about everything. I'm endlessly curious. I love travelling, but I recently adopted a dog so I'm a little tied down, but there are enough friends around to walk her if I need to escape for a few days. Oh, and although I don't have much talent in the area, I love artwork. My students can't even read my handwriting, but I like art anyways. Looking to meet someone down to earth who I can make laugh.

First Date
My favorite first date would be to eat a nice dinner at one of my favorite holes-in-the-wall in NYC followed by an indie flick at the Angelica theater. Nice walk and talk up to my favorite cafe, Cafe Reggio. If there's some more time, some comedy at the Comedy Cellar or some fun and dancing and Cafe Wha? down the street....Since I'm in Philly, I like to look for similar things. I love to relax in a cafe. A place with some jazz would be even better.
