About Me
(please read thoroughly :D)...to the center of a tootsie pop? Who knows! What I do know is that it only takes 1 reply to meet a genuine person. I have a big heart, bigger sense of humor but take serious what needs taking serious. I believe that if you're truly looking for a relationship that you should adopt the 1+1= 1 mentality. Two people working towards 1 goal - to make both happy. You have to be willing to let someone into your life, friend's circle and if things go well you're family. I'm not, nor would hope anyone is; looking to consume another's identity...far from it in fact, but a relationship does involve 2 people and does require (a) having time to spend (b) willing to spend it and (c) being open to falling in love/taking that chance.
I am by no means perfect, no more so than anyone on this site or out in the world(fyi I'm a big guy but not obese wide shoulders/hips). I like many may be initially attracted to the picture you have on your profile, but what's really going to determine my true interest is what you have to say and what type of person you are. We can all polish our online images with certain words or phrases but the proof will be in the pudding - and ya can't call me puddin' til the 3rd date!!!
I have a very quick wit, dripping in sarcasm at times but its in a playful nature. I can laugh at myself and do, with myself and do & have a very bizarre sense of humor. Which basically means I can find humor in just about anything or any situation. However, refer to my initial paragraph - I take serious what needs taking serious. (ie a relationship, my partners wants/needs, finances etc.)
I enjoy music of all types, some more than others - Metallica, Tool, Ozzy but having growin up in the 70s I do have older music on my playlist like the Bee Gees, Carpenters, Ziggy Stardust, Fleetwood Mac etc. That variety holds true for my taste in movies. The only genre of movies I don't truly enjoy are horror, I guess they just don't scare me.....but if it's a REALLY good movie/scene, I have been known to get teary eyed....and if you tell anyone I'll have to kill ya!!!! :P
I cook, clean, pay bills, do laundry, work and enjoy a full life outside of it. So I'm more than willing to do my part but I guess the million dollar questions is...Are you ready and willing to do yours? Inquiring mind wants to know. :D If you read the details of my profile you'll see that I do not drink, drug or smoke and prefer to meet someone of similar lifestyle. Hope that doesn't turn "plenty of fish" into....no fish, just my lifestyle and have learned the hard way to not take chances with those criteria.

First Date
I think after exchanging a few emails, getting to know a bit more about one another we'd have a better idea of what a good first date would be for us. If the company is good then I'm pretty well comfortable doing most anything. A nice dinner followed by a walk in the park or maybe meeting a group of their friends for games. Anything to make the mood more relaxed for us both.
