My favourite past times are swimming, beach/waterfront; going for walks along the boardwalk (beach), cycling, reading for personal enrichment; movies [action, comedy, drama]. I enjoy being pro-active in my Community (extends Provincially through Social Justice Advocacy), working with children & helping people. I'm a social person, but frequently enjoy quiet times at home. I have a diversity of interests (motorsports, architecture, wildlife, extreme sports, oceanography...) and am innately curious about what makes humanity function (medicine, law, current events, social/humanitarian issues etc.). I prefer casual outings. I'm comfortable with fine dining, or a family restaurant; "homecooking" or a backyard barbecue. I'm practical, organized, hygienic... I value these attributes in others. I feel I am adaptable, NOT high maintenance, I appreciate "the little things" which make a person feel valued. I thrive on mental stimulation...u must be a good conversationalist; witty, humorous & appeal to my comfort level

First Date
I think an ideal first date is a casual setting for snacks and/or drinks (tea, wine, beer...) Gives us an opportunity to hear each other speak. I'm not big on loud, crowded places. I don't consider first "meetings" a date. It's more an introduction, getting acquainted...then more formal arrangements can be made later. I don't like to "rush" things; equally I don't like to be pressured...if there's an attraction then I'm game.
