I moved to Burnaby 5 years ago for college which got me a job in Motion Capture. It's quite an interesting field to work in - I get to use some pretty damn cool technology; I get to learn a ton of stuff; and have plenty of opportunity to see, and do, and meet people that I would have never thought possible. I suppose it could best be described as 'digitizing human motion'...
Im fairly career-oriented at the moment, but always have time for family and friends.
I have a fairly close knit group of friends that mean a whole lot to me, but I also enjoy meeting new people :)
For fun I enjoy hanging out at a cafe, playing pool, or maybe grabbing a cold beer in a bar somewhere. I'm not necessarly into the club scene, but rather perfer a small venue with good music and friendly people. I also enjoy simply hanging out at home watching a good movie, or hockey game.
As far as music goes, I have a rather wierd palate - Trance, Jazz, and Rock - I don't think i've ever met someone who has quite the same appreciation of the three genres as I do, but then again they are a weird three to be bundled together.
My favourite instruments are Guitar, and Saxaphone. And good vocals. I always enjoy listening to someone with a range like Terry Caller - good on you if you've heard of him :)
I've just sparked an interest for travel within the last two years or so, having been to the Philippians, Florida, and Spain for work. I'd like to see more of the world someday; its really quite an incredible place.
Anywho, if any of this sounds neat, send me a message, and we can chat :)
Going out for coffee, ice cream, maybe a scenic drive somewhere... Just something we could do to talk. Movies are allright I suppose, but you can't really talk during one. I'd much rather go for coffee, maybe a walk and get to know eachother.
