I would like to find someone to spend time with, occasionally, and if we turn out to be really good companions, perhaps this could be a long term friendship. That "someone" would have to be positive and intellectual. I believe that we are strongly influenced by those we choose to spend time with, so I surround myself with folks who will lift me up in every way. I encourage you to do the same.
I am in a committed relationship with a male; and he understands my need for a female companion. He is often out of town for business; and I would like good company and stimulating conversation, "etc." (with a feminine lady), to escape to after my days at work. There are some needs that only another lady can fill... Being "BI", I would not stereotype myself with the usual classifications; but if you must know...I would fall into the category of Lipstick / Very Femme but with the strength and service you would expect from a man. My man is supportive of my desires; but will not be involved with you. I am very happy with my man; so I will not be involved with your significant other.
Tattoos are a huge turn-OFF to me, as are strange piercings (it hurts me to look at them). Long hair is a huge turn-ON. Anyone who looks like a male is not an option...that is what men are here for...
I prefer country music, jazz, or classic rock; but can enjoy almost anything except rap.
I would probably say the first "date" would be getting comfortable with my new friend over a glass of sweet tea at a local diner. If we were comfortable with one another, perhaps the next "date" would be at home...making dinner together or watching a good movie... That depends on the other person...
Perhaps that would involve spending a day out at the farm...fishing in the pond, riding horses, blazing trails in the woods, roasting marshmallows over a campfire, trying to learn how to play a few chords on the guitar, take a ride on my motorcycle (if it is a beautiful day out), or...we could go with your recommendation... What would you like to do?
I think we all have a "bucket list" (things we want to do during our life). During Spring Break, I checked one off that had never been put on my list: Parasailing. My daughter and I were at the beach and she and a friend wanted to go; but needed an extra person so I suddenly found myself 800 feet up! Other things on my bucket list are:
Canoeing in the lake under a full moon
Picnic-ing in a Pavilion while it rains
Rafting in a lonesome creek
Participating in a Hot-Air Balloon Festival
Creating a dance floor in a pasture by parking multiple vehicles in a circle, all with lights on and tuned to the same radio station...and enjoying friends like they did in the 50s...or earlier!
Does any of this interest you? I am open to suggestions....
