i think i'm pretty fun.
about me: i study sociology and school is pretty much my life; that and exercising (i'm no gym rat though), cooking great food, yoga (i'm a registered yoga teacher but it doesn't make me super flexible), and travelling. i've lived in mexico and china. i also love trashy reality tv (but am embarrassed to admit it), beer, wine, reading a lot of non-fiction, snowboarding, board games, scuba diving when i'm in warm places, and meeting new and interesting people. when i do watch tv, my favourite shows are the office and modern family (and ummm america's next top model and teen mom). i'm super independent and hate being told what to do/ controlled/ being given advice and i will call you on your bullshit! i want to study law and have no problem arguing a point- if you're someone who likes to avoid debate i'm probably not the right girl for you. further.. if you like to say things like 'that's so gay with aids' or 'i got totally jew'ed' and get annoyed when i point out your oppressive use of language, i'm probably not the right girl for you either (and definitely vice versa).
i'm not looking for random sex or one night stands (us girls don't need the internet to find that if it's what we want) but would love to meet people who are open-minded, that can hold a conversation, can wake up everyday excited about life, and can teach me new things!

you can laugh at me as i get carded everywhere i go.
also.. a word.. i'm not super into coffee first dates. it feels like a job interview. you either have to get me drinking (or you drinking) so we don't stare awkwardly over our cups at each other if the conversation lulls, or we have to go do something, like build miniature dams at science world.
