About Me
Mighty shalom A thing that is important to me is truth. A thing you should know about this male is that I am a Believer in the Word of Yahweh (g_d). I am more and more a doer of the word. I believe in the truth of Scripture/the Bible. Yahweh's truth and not what man says. Is that you? If so then we can chat? Or if you are just curious then we can chat too. I believe in love. I believe in the power of overcoming, longevity, and being pretty much on an even keel with my mate.
I've been a Navy man. A college man. A fraternity man. I am a daddy of a 6 yr old girl who lives with her mother but I am in her life. I cannot abandon my blood.
Am I looking to create a new life? I don't know. Am I looking for a wife? Yes. At my age I find that wisdom is saying dating is like trying on shoes and hoping not to wear them and your heart out. Def a diff between dating and courting. I had my time where all I wanted was a companion. If we didn't work out oh well I was glad for the time at least. Past that time. On to the next one. Looking to create something real and permanent. I've no fear in giving my heart.
I'm not afraid of commitment. Nor of getting hurt. I'm not a thug but I am a man capable of handling my business. Remember, I'm a man of Yah and I'm older and supposed to be wiser. I'm not even tryin to get into a situation where I have to fight. I hope to find a woman who isn't a drama queen or ghetto. I've never brought a woman home to ma who was hood. Can't do it.

I still go out. I still enjoy mini golf, walks in the park. Yes I swim in Lake Mich on the Illinois side from time to time lol. I enjoy a nice drink. I'm learning guitar. I enjoy playing sports more so than watching because in watching I'm just a home team fan. I love sunsets. I enjoy the simple things in life. Not really materialistic. I still enjoy dancing. I like to cook and bake. I do have some domestication skills. I'm a nurturer by nature. And I'm a father of one. Her mother has custody of her 4 hours away and no I don't have baby momma drama. 4 hours away kind of helps with that. However even with the lil bit of stress I wish her nothing but the best.
People ask me what religion am I. It's not an easy thing to put a name to. However I tell them that what it says in the Bible you say you read and follow? I actually really put effort into living it. Loving you would mean that I will do so as I do myself. In u being with me and then I will love such a woman who is mine as I would love myself. This is how it should be and more and more it's not. Eat your heart out.

First Date
A first date I have found to best be someplace that inspires conversation. Needs to be someone peaceable. So coffee or a meal place. Clubs are horrid first date places unless the club is a place to go to after some meal and the two have hit it off.
