As we all know, relationships start as friends first ...and friendships begins with "honesty" and "respect" .. The foundation.
We are required to say our INTENT. So my intent is to make new friends and to date if we have something in common. About me: I am a modern day woman with old fashion values (born a small-town farm girl) and hoping to find someone who can share some common interests and teach/show me some new ones. I have no time for big egos, drama,(anger issues - as I had nothing to do with it) rudeness, complainers, takers, lazy people, mind games or falsified friendships, as these traits are not what I bring to the table.
There is something to be said about "classics" but I do believe that one should keep with the times, (update their look) and also meaning TV steroes are not cool, neither is the doily or eye glasses from the 80's. FYI: Although, this comment may read superficial or shallow, it is not. It sends the message that I'm accepting of the new,(change is good) letting go of the past, (moving on, living today and excited about the tomorrows) and I care to look my best, no matter how old I am.
Being a fair-minded woman, I expect to pay my own way in life; not expecting a free ride. I know many of us have had hard times; made some bad choices and I too have had my share but it is what we do about it that counts. We pick ourselves up, go forward and not live a life of excuses. Life is all about choices: no mistakes, only lessons to be learned and taking the good from the bad; believing that everything happens for a reason; never losing sight of what we have been given and being forever thankful for that.
