Mandatory description? It makes it sound so official! LOL Well, here's a little bit about me and some of the things that keep my life full of fun and excitement...
For starters, I smile and laugh a lot and I'm told that my smile is infectious! :) I'm adventurous and relatively active but at the same time am fairly laid back (for me, it's more about the experience of participating and having fun instead of the competition) I enjoy getting my hands dirty fixing things or cooking up a gourmet meal. I love being both in the lap of luxury in a five star hotel as well as occasionally camping in a tent in the amazing outdoors (in my opinion, you can't truly experience everything the world has to offer without both!) I enjoy and value spending quality time together, yet also ensure to make time for friends. I definitely enjoy the odd road trip (wine tasting in the Okanagan, concerts at the Gorge, skiing and the Oregon coast... just to name a few!) As you can see from my pictures, I love to travel - see and experience other cultures, people and food. Most recently (Dec / Jan) I spent three weeks in India and Sri Lanka - with 12 cities in 22 days it was very busy, however it was an amazing trip! I have a great career, but I'm also an entrepreneur at heart and am always perculating ideas for my next business. I have a goofy and silly side, but also know when to be serious. Finally, while I enjoy the occasional night on the town with close friends, I also cherish my down time - there's alot to be said for an evening at home with a home cooked dinner, a movie, a good bottle of wine and of course some great company!
I really like what a friend once said when I asked her what she was looking for in her next relationship - she replied 'my new best friend' - I couldn't agree more! While we obviously have to start somewhere, I'm far more interested in longevity... hopefully with someone who shares at least a few of the same interests, values and experiences in life (essentially a complement to each others lives). If any of this sounds of interest to you and if you're open to the occasional adventure as we explore and experience the many amazing things that life and the world have to offer... it would be great to hear from you!
