About Me
Let's see, time to condense yourself down into a few choice phrases that hopefully encapsulate and convey your entire nature and being. Piece 'o cake. Right. ;)
"They" say 'We are all the sum collection of our experiences'. My experience is the combination of worlds in that I was raised on a small private farm by PhD College Professor parents until about 13 yrs old; from the start I was encouraged to both respect and see the beauty in nature, as well as pursue learning and education and self-teaching. I was taught responsibility and discipline as well as developed a thirst for higher ideals, seeking deeper concepts, and pursuing ceaseless self-improvement. I am a creative person, a musician, singer and writer, as well as being a down-to-earth somewhat handy man, and really great with animals (even considered becoming a vet). I respect art and culture, as well as can fix a broken garbage disposal or put an addition on my house. I've always been a steady person financially, emotionally, psychologically and even on my feet! I'm well-traveled, having lived in Europe and the Caribbean for a few years while I worked on cruise ships in my early twenties. I have a steady career, own my own home (well at least the bank does), and am regularly working on some project. I've got an admittedly sarcastic, punny sense of humor that seems to infuse nearly everything I do... which I'm refraining from showing too much of here. :) I'm looking for a woman that is creative with a good sense of humor... one that knows that laughter keeps you alive. I'm always joking around with friends, employing sarcasm and looking for the humor in most things, if not everything. I'm NOT some emasculated PNW sensitive wussy guy raised by a single mother, which almost seems to be the norm out here. Not that there is something necessarily wrong with that, I'm sure some women want that guy... I'm a real man, make real decisions, honestly don't particularly like talking on the phone, or discussing my "feelings" per se... no matter how deep they may run, those still waters, heh... and yet I'm a passionate musician and writer... ironic eh? Oh and I have a darkside that can never be bridled or tamed! Just so you know. ;)

I'm sorry, but I am not interested in dating someone who has children. I want children of my own one day, but do not want to jump into a ready-made family. I hope you understand.

First Date
Something hopefully involving good conversation and not the same ol' run of the mill stuff. Live music would be choice, but also exploring all the things this city has to offer of which we locals never seem to partake.
