I enjoy travel, cuisine from different cultures, political discussions (i.e. what is REALLY going on!), sustainability, survivalism and the outdoors, documentary films and reading. I am very close with my family - in particular my Mother - and would do anything for her. If you are not family-oriented, I would not be a good match for you. While I am currently working outside of my chosen profession I hope to attain a full time position teaching at the elementary level. I love children and hope to have a family of my own someday. A lover of world travel, I am adventurous and often travel for great lengths at a time. I have eclectic taste in music and can appreciate anything from Dean Martin to Sublime. I am looking for a man who has some level of sophistication (i.e. well travelled, knowledgeable and above all KIND and sensitive to others), whether he is in business or a contractor! Conversational skills are A MUST!! I tend to like "manly men" who can build, fix or just "know" things (!), including survival skills and an eye for providing for our future. Unfortunately I am allergic to cats, so if you prize yours, keep moving along! Dogs tend not to aggravate the allergies as much! :) I am intense, passionate and simply will not settle, however I am quite down-to-earth despite this description! I just know what I want. If you do too, I look forward to hearing from you.
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
My idea of a good first date would be an engaging conversation over a glass of wine! And boys, if you don't know the proper etiquette of how to handle a first date - please don't bother responding. I am old school and not looking to waste a lick of my time OR yours! If I am not interested for whatever reason, please do not anticipate a response and take no offense by it. Thanks for stopping by! :)
