About Me
Well if my utilities and property taxes keep going up I soon will be,nlol! (that's 'not laughing out loud' for all you acronym overloaded fishies)
Sometimes I feel that my attempts to portray myself have given the wrong impression on here, If I was to show a picture of my car for instance I would be judged as flashy, materialistic or just showing off, truth is I drive an economical pickup truck day to day, the car is an old sixties classic that I bought for fun, for an investment, nostalgia, to enjoy at classic car meets, I certainly don't care about status,,, once in a while I see someone on here that very much sounds like someone that would compliment my lifestyle, and perhaps a quick glance at my pics or profile and zoom,, they're gone, perhaps for the wrong reasons, like the one that mistook my bicycle pic for a chopper and told me she doesn't date bikers,,sheesh, now I've had to hide that picture too!
As I've matured (as opposed to getting older, lol), I have realized the importance of healthy living, and healthy eating, and would like to start by meeting someone who also sees this as important, and can appreciate the wonders of nature over our material world.
I believe in the importance of a solid financial foundation, and I am grateful of that which I have, but all that only gives me peace of mind, it does not define my happiness or my success in life, for me, true success is keeping that glass half full, allowing my heart to grow amidst the cynicism that constantly rears it's ugliness in the dating world.
My heart is open, long time single I know what I want and am not clouded by unsorted baggage, although I do not want to jump into anything too fast, I do believe it is impossible to get a true sense of anyone online without meeting them first, having said that, I am hoping there are still some optimistic types on here that would be open to just get together for a tea and see if there is a connection, no pressure, no expectations, no endless emails, no second guessing, if you think I'm kinda cute why not take a chance??
I would like to find my one true love, the person that makes every day a sunny day, someone that would enjoy a life together, sharing a beautiful home with a garden full of various fruit trees and veggies, breakfast on the patio with a mountain view that beckons us to want to hike, to enjoy getting back to nature and living a more healthy stress free life away from the rat race we've all been sold on.
By many peoples standards I would be described as reasonably successful, by my standards success is finding someone sweet and deserving enough to give my heart to,,,now and forever.
I truly value the rewards of long term, not to be with someone, but to love and grow old with someone, if I choose to be with you, it will be for the right reasons, but let's just start with tea first!
