So, after taking an over-a-year break, I've decided that I'd like to get back into the dating pool again.
I think I should probably put down what I'm attracted to... I'm attracted physically to gentlemen (ages 28-40 usually) who are physically fit, healthy, and well-dressed (though, the occasional muscle t-shirt and wrangler jeans never hurt anyone... :P). Personality-wise, I'm attracted to someone who is quick-witted, has a sense of humor, and is confident in himself, his sexuality, and his body.
I'm a very hard working person that likes to laugh a lot. I laugh at myself mostly, but every now and then, I like to laugh at other people. LoL I absolutely love life and I love experiencing it each and every day that comes along. I've come to realize that it's not people that disappoint me, it's my expectations of people that disappoint me. I always try to see the good in every one and in every situation. I'm a very loving person (I love music [almost every genre], animals [I'm vegetarian], and people that love life and have a sense of humor.), and always try to be gracious when people don't meet up to my "standards."
First, let me describe who I'd like to meet.
I'd like to meet people who have at least an ounce each of civility and etiquette. People that have at least half a brain and can perform the easiest tasks that a primate can perform without help. I'd LIKE for the people that I meet to be animal lovers. By animal lovers, I mean vegetarians or vegans. (I've never understood why someone wouldn't eat an animal called a pet, but would eat an animal called dinner. It's the same principle.)
I realize that not all the people on this site are going to fit into that mold, so if you have at least half a brain, and a certain amount of civility and etiquette, then we'll talk about the other requirement. :P
Now, on to the question "What would you do for a first date."
To tell you the truth, I'm not really on here for a relationship. I just want to meet friends. I'm working very hard on my career right now, and that doesnt really allow me to have time to work on a relationship. I ALWAYS have time for friends though. Whether it be talking on the phone to someone who's having a tough time, eating vegan chocolate and SoyDelicious Ice Cream, and man-hating with someone, or just being that person that everyone needs every now and then to be there for them. :)
Like I said, I'm not looking for a relationship, really...but, I'm ALWAYS up for new friends. I LOVE meeting new people and learning about people's lives. It helps me to gain aspect on other points of view. :)
