About Me
I'm a mid-20's professional that has gained some work experience after finishing my undergrad a couple of years ago. I am planning to make my way back into the world of academia, as it's looking more and more like I'll be starting a Master's degree in the fall. I enjoy the world of sports, whether it be playing or watching. A great night for me can be sitting back and flipping between the Jays game and the NHL playoffs, which there have been plenty of lately. However, I'm also a regular reader who has re-taken an interest in novels and some non-fiction. I appreciate literature a lot more now that I'm not reading for the purpose of academics. I enjoy all types of music and have a guilty pleasure for Top 40's but would be just as happy checking out local bands at different venues in the city. I love going out to bars, pubs, clubs with friends and getting to know different people, but am also quite satisfied chilling at home watching a good show or movie.
My aspirations include continuing in academia but combining that with strong work experience in my field that will help me garner a more senior position which comes with a higher pay-grade. My current job is an entry level opportunity, but it's time for bigger things. I do not want to ever become complacent in my work, and a new direction with this Master's is much needed.
I'm really just looking for someone I can enjoy a conversation with and can also take out to do different things in the city this summer. This can literally be anything. I love concerts, festivals, movies, etc. I'm super laid-back, have a sarcastic charm and am really looking for similar traits in you. I love a woman who can dish it right back when I tease her, and isn't afraid of being herself around me. Being genuine and authentic can be incredibly desirable traits to me.
