Why do people always say that they like long walks on the beach? I for one just spent 5 odd months on and off beaches in Asia and I for one, detest long walks on the beach. I'd much rather find the best place to people watch and swim, tan, drink and be a right lazy b*stard(not that i'm a b*stard, my mom says I was what she called a surprise but i digress... back to the topic at hand). I don't mind walks so much but if i'm on the beach, i'd rather not be walking forever. Oh, and if i can bring my guitar then i'll be in heaven. Unless there are sharks around since I don't like them much due to having them haunt my dreams and ruin ocean swimming for me and sister since my cousin showed us the movie Jaws when i was 8.
I like to read, lots. i don't expect you to read like crazy... i do expect you to read something besides the latest cosmo. It's alright if you do read that but if we're going to have anything in common. I'd love to have you tell me about some rad book that i just must absolutely read.
Musically, you just need to like music. Not just listen to the radio and regurgitate the same stuff we hear everywhere but you need to obsess a little about some rando band. If you need help on this front, i'd be happy to show you which bands/groups that i love.
Careerness(i just made that up... i know you're impressed): you need to have a plan. I don't really care if you are in school, going to school or hate school. You need to have a plan. Like say you want to move to Russia and become a cosmonaut, I applaud your ambition comrade! I just would prefer if you have your own sh*t going on so I don't feel like I can't talk about my stuff since my business kind of consumes me and i need to be able to share it with people who can share their similar life stuff. And it's not ok to hate your job unless you have a sweet plan, because b*tcing about how much your jobs sucks without having any ambition to fix your lot is a huge turnoff.
Other stuff... you must be relatively active. I do and play lots of various things that take up my time and if your idea of a big night is watching CSI and going to sleep at 10 then we won't have much in common. I love film/tv as much as the next person but it's a small part of my life. I like going out. I like doing stuff. I have lots of friends to do said stuff with and if you want to be a couch potato 7 days a week then you can do that by yourself. I'm going to find some fun.
Oh, and for the love of god. You need to be able to spell. I don't think that's too big of a request. I'm lax on punctuation and some grammar but spelling to me, is hot! damn. that makes me sound like an ass. meh. i'm not taking it back.
Anyways. I am... funny, ambitious, outdoorsy, active and confident. I'm looking for someone who can make me laugh and who has their life together, ok? hmm... I can't think of anything else. If you are at all interested, please say hi.
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
I don't really know what a 'Date' is but I'm sure that I'd be good at it.
