Hey. My name is Tim. How are you doing? (feel free to type an answer into the message field)
I promise I will make an effort to be charming even if it comes off as cheesy. And it will come off as cheesy most of the time. I don't really party, but I will drink 6 beers and act like Ace Ventura. I am comfortably awkward. I guess you are bound to get comfortable with it after 30 years of being awkward. Despite that I am still decently athletic and surprisingly well coordinated.
I am pretty intellectual for a blue collar guy. I like theorizing about the unknown and talking politics. i won't just tell you your music sucks, but I will tell you why. But I am also a licensed plumber so I am kind of handy and tougher than I look. That also means I am not scared to get my hands dirty and I can deal with some pretty gross stuff on occasion.
I don't want to ramble on too much..
I enjoy a lot of music. Everything from classical to country to new age. Always been a big fan of folk music and folky pop artists. I like trying to play classical piano pieces on my little digital piano, but I don't know any pieces all the way through yet.
I like riding my bike and going for walks. I mainly ride my bike through the trails of Cypress Creek by my apartment. The streets aren't really the best for riding or walking around here due to the lack of shoulders/bike lanes/side walks, but you can get a pretty good hike or ride through the woods.
Some things about me that I think are positives that may be seen as a negative by a lot of girls on here.
-I am sort of concerned about my effect on the environment. I drive a Toyota, not a big truck. (although I do have to drive a truck at work)
- I don't have any fantasies about raining terror on woodland creatures like deer. I am up for camping, I am just not going to kill anything while I am out there. Hiking/kayaking has to be more fun anyway.
-I have pet parakeets. They don't talk, they don't like being touched, but I am still pretty sure that they like me. Really, they do.
-I like listening to NPR in the car.
mountain biking through the woods, rent a paddle boat and go fishing, or just grab dinner and some drinks to get to know each other.
