About Me
Hello there,
Well, I moved to Vancouver about a year ago and have been loving it here! I had wanted to try BC life forever. I have managed to meet lots of new people, but still looking to expand my social circle and meet more, so... here I am.
Well, a little about me. I've lived in lots of different places (mainly in Canada, but would love to live abroad for a longer period of time) I've spent the last couple years in Calgary going to grad school. Calgary never really did it for me: not a lot to do, not a lot of music to go see, and NO water of any kind really. I'm now out and have a great profession which I enjoy quite a bit. One day, I may switch into politics but I have a tendency to just say what I think and not to beat around the bush. I think honesty is the best policy and I'm also pretty incapable of lying (not the best characteristics for a career in politics!), or maybe I'll just drop the whole thing and try life as a musician again... who knows??
I'm more just interested in meeting people than anything else and making friends in a new city. I've tried the online dating thing before with little success. However, I have made some friends out of the deal and had a lot of laughs. However, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't hoping to find something more than friends. In terms of what I look for in a girl, here's a few things: intelligent, good sense of humour, quick to laugh/smile, easy-going, share a few interests and I suppose cute is good too (I think I'm a lot less superficial than most guys but there does need to be some initial attraction. Oh, and having something artistic/creative about you will also earn you a lot of points in my book.
I rarely take myself seriously and have a tendency to tease my friends a bit (don't worry not in a mean way! And if I tease you it probably means I like you).
Like many people, it can take a while to get to know me, but hey, it's worth it.
