About Me
It's always nicer to get out and about in the summer: rock a patio, check out a show, stand amongst sweaty smelly people on the TTC. I took a big trip last year so i plan on doing a lot of city chillin' this time around.
I work for a television station which means i have awkward work hours, but i get 3 days off a week... so i definitely can't complain. The extra time off allows me to catch up on tv, reading, movies, etc.
Right now i'm listening to The National and getting ready for the Pearl Jam back-to-back concerts in september by plowing through their discography on shuffle.
I don't have a car. All through my 20s i convinced myself to drive everywhere, and it cost me a lot of freedom. I'm a downtown kind of guy, and the car is nothing but a burden and a reminder that i can't enjoy more than a few drinks on a patio, and to keep a watchful eye on the parking lot meter. Plus, the cost is rediculous when you don't drive to work.
I could say that i spell well, but in truth i trust auto-correct and ditionary.com more than i do myself. I think i'm a funny guy, but sometimes my jokes are too brilliantly funny for people to get.
I'm an English major who oftentimes can't view something for 'what it is'. I like to critique both the good and the bad. Never will I use the term 'boring' when describing something.
Unless i'm describing the word 'boring', of course. because that actually is boring.
At this point i should go over my profile to check for grammer, spelling and continuity ... but it's nice outside and i gotta get to work.
