Hi! I took the short route when I first wrote this but thought I'd share more... Don't know if that's a good thing or bad thing. :c) Hobbies include photography, travel(my parents were in the military; I've visited 9 countries), garage sales, scrapbooking, movies, sci-fi, and I'm always up for a game night with friends.
My goal/aspiration is, and always has been, to be a wife and mom. I know at my age this chance is dwendling but as a "hopeful" romantic... LOL :c) God has not found my life partner for me yet, so I'm praying He's just busy working on both of us preparing us for a relationship that will last the next 40 years or so... (hey, I plan on living to be at least 80--don't you?).
My taste in music is eclectic. These days I mostly listen to K-Love, stemming from when I did childcare full-time and realized even Radio Disney wasn't wholesome enough for the little ones. :c) But, I do listen to music outside of the Contemporary Christian; just about anything.
As to what makes me unique? I have a birthmark on my right arm--does that count? :c) Lots of freckles...? Many of my friends have told me I have an positive attitude despite what life throws at me. I don't know that this is true, I'm human and things get to me; I just don't choose to share it with everyone. As many have written on this site--they don't want drama. I think my friends are more unique than me, and I love them all.
I've never judged a man on his height or weight, the person inside is way more important to me. The idea man would be someone who loves children, loves pets (I have a dog and a cat), would hopefully be a bit of romantic, likes movies, enjoys traveling, and would be totally smitten with me, of course... LOL :c)
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
Let me be honest by saying I'm not real comfortable with this process. I'm a romantic and had hoped to meet someone through a friend, etc., but since that hasn't happened and I'm pushing the big 4-0... I'm old-fashioned and wouldn't feel comfortable meeting up with someone after one or two notes to eachother. Take time to get to know me and I'll get to know you. Be my friend first and we'll see what comes... A first date can be decided based on our personalities; be it putt-putt, a coffee shop, the zoo, a museum...
