About Me
I am committed to my two daughters, the older is 23 and working on her career in Toronto, the younger is 18 in university and lives with me part time. They are a big part of my life. I have been divorced for a several years and lead an active full life. I am convinced that fitness offers many health benefits and go to the gym on a regular basis. I enjoy salmon fishing and head to west coast of Vancouver Island for 3 weeks every August. I bring home Chinook Salmon, Halibut and Crab. For the rest of the summer, I golf regularly and in the winter I enjoy downhill skiing. I try to bike as often as possible. I am up for most fun activities and particularly enjoy camping and hiking.
I am up on current events, and have an active interest in international affairs and politics. I am not dogmatic I have respect for, and will make time to listen to many political points of view. My interest developed out of extensive travel including several trips to Africa, Europe and Asia for business.
Currently semi-retired. from a position in the provincial government. I still do a little consulting work.
I love to cook. I make a mean curry, great BBQ Salmon and roast prime rib. I also enjoy a quiet evening watching a Canucks game.
My friends describe me as an honest, nice guy with a great sense of humour. I am open, non-judgemental. and loyal with a sweet loving disposition thrown in for good measure.

I think the best first date is low key. Just a coffee, a walk or lunch. Just a chance to meet and chat to see if another meeting is in the cards.
