DISCLAIMER: There is probably little to no reason to read what follows below. I am known for my tedious prolixity much to the annoyance of my friends I am sure. The long ramble below attests to that.
I'm 27 years old and taking things day by day. I'd say I'm about dead center between being a slacker and a workaholic. Or about midway between a decaying corpse and the nuclear-fusing core of the Sun.
I like an awful lot of things. It's hard for me to particularly dislike things, even, as I believe that by having negative feelings for something you're giving into your hate for it and therefor still supporting it. For example, if you hate abortions, your hatred fuels those in defense of abortions, and vice versa.
A few of the things I like in more detail are as follows:
* Science - I like astronomy and zoology, archaeology and anthropology, paleontology and geology.
* History - I am a fan of European, Egyptian, both east and west Asian, and United States history. I wouldn't say that I am really strong in any one subject but well-rounded in the lot of them.
* Mythology - I am very familiar with the Greco-Roman, Egyptian, Norse, and Judeo-Christian mythologies. I have a fair bit of knowledge concerning the mythologies of the Chinese, Babylonians, and Sumerians. I'd like to learn more about Hindu, Celtic, and Germanic myth.
* Religion - I am an atheist (a de facto or default atheist to be more specific) but I have studied a number of religions meticulously including Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Zoroastrianism, Pagan rites and rituals, and a variety of New Age religions.
I have a story currently unwritten that exists only in my head. I work on it in stages of inspiration. It is an epic story concerning the future of the planet Earth. I think it's quite brilliant really but I am having difficulty figuring out the best way to write it. To save you the trouble, I wouldn't bother asking about the story-line. I've told only a few of my closest, most trusted friends. Perhaps you might attain that status.
And finally, I'd have to say what I most look forward to in a woman is her interests. Any mutual interests and we'll always be able to hold discussions. I also like a strong woman. I don't really dig super-thin ladies so unless you find me excruciatingly interesting, you should move along. Nothing against them, I just believe that bones belong in caskets and museums. Highly intelligent females please message me post-haste! I am more interested in cuddling whilst chatting or watching a movie than I am into sex. That's probably odd for a guy. Don't get me wrong though, I, like any human, have some things that are definite turn-ons for me. But mainly, the girl for me is loquacious with a salacious intelligence about her. (Heh, just wanted to use some big words.)

First Date
Well that will be discussed at a later time. I don't know about first dates. I like to get to know a person over the phone first and then go out somewhere but usually that's only to dinner or to a small party or something. If she's into star-gazing, going somewhere away from light pollution with my telescope could suffice as a good first date.
