I'm an easy going, relaxed, positive person. Not much for drama... but when it does happen, I tend to be the calming type. I'm known to be the happy, smiling guy who says hello to strangers and am a bit of a magnet when someone really needs to talk. I feel lucky that folks are comfortable confiding in me.
My favorite thing ever... my grandkids. Happily, you can have more than one favorite thing!
I was my Mum's caregiver for 4 years. She was awesome, I miss her, and she is cheering me on. I recall during one visit to emergency she said, "You should find a good girl and get married". That was a HUGE surprise, because Mum was not much into sharing me.
It's time, finally, to dip my toe into the pond.
I'm just another boy.... treading water... in the pond.
