About Me
OK, I've been routinely accused of sounding too cynical and bitter by many of you here, so it's time to do a re-write! If you can't handle total honesty from a man, then stop reading now.
First, Yes, I'm still "legally" married and NO, I haven't any plans to get back with her nor do I wish to pay another dime to some "blood-sucking" lawyer to file divorce papers! Secondly, NO, I'm not on this site looking to get "laid". (there's enough men on POF trying to do just that) To quote my ex...."you want sex? well, God gave you two hands, use them".
Look ladies, here's the straight up reality about me. I'm not your knight in shining armor, I'm not some handsome stud and I'm certainly not rich. I've lived in a rented house "shack" for the past 20+ years and I'm about as much fun as watching fleas fluk. I'm retired, lived here alone (w/pets) for the past 6 years and I spend more time walking the dogs than I do cleaning my house. (obviously) I have nothing to offer any of you except honesty, love, friendship & respect!
I'm a simple man leading a simple lifestyle. I don't "dress to impress" and I don't pretend to be something or someone I'm not....WYSIWYG! I've been known to be stubborn and overbearing at times but yet I also know how to be compassionate, understanding and caring. I also believe in being honest and upfront with others (so don't ever ask the question "do these jeans make me look fat?"...if you can't handle the truth.
My best trait (or fault), however you view it is, I'm a total "Giver". I've always had the desire to do whatever I can to make someone else's life better. (probably part of why I'm always broke) Anyway, it's what makes me feel good inside!
Bottom line is this: I don't expect to meet anyone on this site and given my current marital status, I don't deserve to. Separated = Married and I respect you ladies for that. I'm here for only two reasons....gives me something to do and I get a kick out of reading the forums (well, I used to until they took them away)! I check out all profiles, young, old and in between...not because I'm hopeful, merely out of curiosity. Therefore, no need to be concerned if it shows that I clicked on your profile....just some old redneck with too much time on his hands.
OH, by the way.....in my humble opinion....REDS RULE!!! (damn, I adore redheads)

Date? No, I don't need a date. Do you seriously think I'm going to find a date with a profile like this? LMAO ...WOMEN DON'T DATE MARRIED MEN! Now, if they had asked me about finding some new friends to chat with, well, I could consider that.
