About Me
A bit about me:
- love cars (yes, love and since before I could crawl)
- Started and operate a small company that manufactures and markets parts for Mazda cars.
- Just starting to play squash again after a 3 year hiatus.
- almost addicted to listening to Coffee House on Sirius (rare acoustic & cover music), current favorite song: An acoustic version of "Save A Prayer" by Duran Duran (if you can tell me where I can get a copy of this version I will be indebted to you for a really long time...say a week to 10 days)
- Been described as a bit of a geek (yeah, I have an iPad, watched both Iron Man movies, etc., but draw the line at Harry Potter)
- actually enjoy cooking more than eating (and no, I am not a bad cook who just likes to go through the motions. Its that cooking is engaging for me)
- learning to sketch with pencils and using erasers without cursing.
I love watching a good movie, especially comedies and some reading. My favorite flick has to be "The Princess Bride". - "everyone knows not to bet with a Sicilian when death is on the line!". Most hated movie, "The English Patient". As for TV, enjoyed Heroes, but loved Deadwood, can't get enough of Al Sweringen and Mr Wu.
Favorite Book "The Alchemist" by Paulo Coelho, a great read with lots of great lessons and insights into life.
I love camping...nothing beats being in the outdoors, cooking either on a open fire or on a Coleman Stove.
I am the creator and "near-evangelistic-like" promotor of Green Chair Drinking...kind of an off-shoot of White Water Rafting, that has absolutely nothing to do with White, water or rafting. Unless of course your cup is white and you like water in your drink.
a couple of things I want to learn:
1) Play piano, hey Clint Eastwood thinks its cool.
2) Learn to Fence, ya know...sword fighting
The people around me have described me as (I swear I didn't make these up):
-Funny often bordering on hysterical but serious when I
need to be (which thankfully isn't too often)
-great communicator, blah, blah, whatever.
I am looking to meet someone that can lead to a lasting relationship. Not looking for someone to complete me, but someone who I truly enjoy being with and vice versa.
