Hey there. I like to go out and have fun just as much as I like to stay in and watch a movie or read a book - balance is good. My friends and I joke about being "culture vultures" but not really in a way that's pretentious... at least I hope! Here's a few of the events I've been to this year to give you an idea of my idea of fun - VA wine festival, Air Guitar Championships at 9:30 Club, David Sedaris book reading, Legwarmers (80s retro band) at State Theater, short film festival at E Street Cinema, Kristen Schaal stand up at Arlington Drafthouse... and more! Throw in an afternoon movie with friends, book club, girls night out dancing, happy hour with friends and you get the idea. Of course, that's all balanced out with a zumba class at the gym and some quality time on the sofa trying to get my DVR at a lower percentage. I love to travel, and I love it when I get back to home sweet home. The past couple years have been huge for travel - Puerto Rico, Niagara Falls, 2 trips to Asia (China, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Cambodia & Vietnam), Beize, and Costa Rica. Seriously doubt I'll have as many miles next year!
Isn't everyone looking for someone funny, smart & outgoing?? Whether it's meeting for a drink, dinner, or going for a walk - a great first date venue allows for good conversation to get to know each other.
