Confession: haven't been a very good POFer. At times, I've ignored this site for a month or more, other times I've visited several times a week. So, I'm getting nowhere. And it's my fault. Time to smarten up and make a consistent effort to communicate. (Is anybody out there?)
Oh, and you probably think I'm full of BS after seeing all my interests. Isn't that list a little over the top? Too much to be true? But it is true, except I don't pursue many of these interests these days. I think it has a lot to do with being single and not having someone to share my passions with.
But hey, that's why we're all here, right?: to find someone we can really connect with and enjoy life's joys, and sorrows.
So, I'm going to give this site another go.
To keep this short, here are some keywords about me, with variable amounts of accuracy: too smart, too honest; too dumb, love to laugh, both sociable and solitary, sometimes feel like I'm on top of the world, other times I think I'm in hell, love to play, love a great conversation, love to "veg out" too, love music, love mountains, love to be challenged, love beauty in people and in nature, love to learn, love to love...
But enough about me. The woman I'm looking for is bright, fun loving, tolerant, adventurous, spirited, attractive, open and a little quirky. Hope that's you; and that you'll drop me a line. You read this far, so you must be curious. Me too.
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
First dates, especially when you meet online, can be a little unnerving. So, I'd want to do something to relax, say jump out of a plane at 15,000 feet. (Just kidding.) I think you really have to know a little about your date and her personality and interests to answer this one. Whatever we did, it would be something we both wanted to do and felt we would enjoy.
