My boobs are now sagging and so is my butt,
The door to my youth has been lovingly shut,
I’m older and wiser, and some say mature,
And because of all that I am very secure.
I love to get out on the weekends and hike.
And if talked to nicely will go out on my bike,
I’m active and healthy and still full of fun,
I love to get out in the rain and the sun.
I no longer feel like dancing all through the night
But on the odd occasion that’d still be all right,
I cook, and I garden, and spend time with my friends,
But how late I stay up, well, that all depends.
I read and watch movies and when there’s the chance
Then maybe I’ll take classes in acting or dance.
But I’m single and searching to find that one Gent
Who’s of my generation and of the same bent.
So if you are out there and feel there’s a link
Then drop me a line, and we’ll see what we think
Of maybe arranging to meet up and see
If you are the one, maybe, for me?
I would be happy, if the weather is good, to go for a walk by the lake, maybe drop into a cafe for a coffee or glass of wine. If the weather's not cooperating then maybe skip the walk? But please don't suggest Tim Horton's!!! Mediocre coffee in uninspiring surroundings is hardly the way to start a relationship with someone who could, possibly, become the love of your life.
I have put my intent as dating but nothing serious, however, that could change depending on the relationship.
