About Me
Sadly....I am NOT IN A RELATIONSHIP ANYMORE. If your married...go away. If your a jerk...go away. If you are looking for perfection...go away. Sorry but this shouldn't be hard. We are on here because we are single and looking for someone to spend time with at least. It should be a good way to meet people with a little preview first. I am short, I eat healthy, I am overweight, I work out, I do not smoke, I do not drink pop, I enjoy beer, I enjoy entertaining, I am a people person. Please do not waste my time if you don't enjoy socializing.
I will say I am not your normal catch! My husband passed away July '04 and I am the single mother of of a eight year old and have custody of my seventeen year old step-son. My kids come first. I am now back in school finishing my bachelor's degree with the plan to continue until I am done with the masters. I am co-president of a non-profit to help widows and widowers and their families. I stay very busy and am not the gal for you if you need a lot of my time. I do center my life on my family and when in a relationship I give it my all. Until a "relationship" is started my focus is on my kids, school and home.
I consider myself to be a pretty happy go lucky type of person. I have been told I am a little on the serious side. At this point in my life, that does not surprise me a bit. My glass is always half full, sometimes to a fault. I can't stand the negative attitudes these days. I truly believe everyone has a place somewhere and it is not my job to judge anyone.
The man I will enjoy will be intelligent, loving, kind, fun, social, energetic and a family man. I am not looking for perfect but am looking for fabulous! He will not only want to be with me, but, realize he will be the man in my daughter's life as well. A lot to ask for, I know. I am confident the right guy is out there.

First Date
Make it a day at the beach with the boat. Pack a cooler with a few beers and enjoy the sun and the lake. Of course, a dinner with conversation is good too. I am pretty easy going and like to do a lot of things.
