About Me
Most of my spare time is spent with reading, running, ruining alliterations or planning kids activities. I'm a leader in a local Scouting group, so that takes up enough time to count as 'giving back to the community', or so I tell myself. Right now I'm on a bit of a history kick, but my staple books are sci fi and non-fiction.
I also just discovered orienteering, which is just as nerdy a game as it sounds like. Basically you get a map and compass and race people through a forest. It's good fun, and a way that I actually enjoy running, which I usually can't stand. I used to do martial arts, but I've just been lifting for the last while.
My main interest is in technology, which is also how I make my living. I cover the spectrum from web development, training, design and so on. If you're not into that, that's fine. After spending most of the day doing it I'm fine to move on to other things.
My son is a big part of my life, but I'm not looking for another mom for him. You won't meet my son unless we turn serious.
