About Me
Hey I just found this, The Top 5 Keys to Online Gay Dating Success: http://manpuppymen.blogspot.com/2010/09/honestly.html Can't say I recommend the site overall, but the article was good enough.
About me: I lived in Nashville for 12 years so sometimes I lapse in to a Southern accent. I have a bachelor of business administration with a concentration in music business, so yes that means I love country music. Don't let that scare you; I have all my teeth, am articulate, and ... hmmm, whatever other stereotypes that might seem applicable aren't.
What's interesting in ...
Movies: Network, Nashville, You've Got Mail, Smoke Signals, Club Native, anything 70s blaxploitation. I haven't watched any of these in months. You've seen "The American" with George Clooney? Good movie. I almost bought Dog Day Afternoon recently.
TV: Reba, The Wire, Arrested Developement, 30 Rock, Brothers & Sisters, Will & Grace. Only a few weeks into the new TV season and my PVR already is filled with too many shows I'll never watch.
Books: I read business books mostly (Sally Hogshead's "Fascinate" was great). Thomas King's "The Truth About Stories" is amazing, highly recommended. Haven't read either in a long time, but Daniel Mendelsohn's "The Elusive Embrace" and Andrew Sullivan's "Love Undetectable" are all-time favourites.
Magazines: The New Yorker, The Atlantic, Entertainment Weekly, BusinessWeek, Billboard, Fast Company.
I'm pretty good at stream-of-consciousness writing, so just pretend I'm talking. My voice is not very deep. Not very high either. It's just right. I know. That doesn't help. I'm not a fast-talker, but I suppose that would be a consideration only if you're a fast reader.
So ...
Contact me because, despite all this, I'm shy when it comes to introductions. I think about it, and then I think of ten reasons not to, (none of them are good), then I don't do it. Thanks.

First Date
I think it would be great to share conversation over a drink somewhere, a low-lit place where we can exchange life histories, lessons learned, personal philosophies, and maybe invent life histories for the wait staff and other patrons. You know, if necessary.
