I consider myself a person of the heart. When I meet someone, what draws me more than anything is the quality of their heart. Someone who is quick to judge or who is critical of others, is not a person that I would like to be around. I really do not want to settle for less than what I have learned makes for a quality relationship. I want that sense of feeling at home between us...like you do with a cherished friend. And, last but not least, I want to share a life with someone who really cares about the bigger world and who wants to invest himself in making it a bettter place. His #1 prioity in life is not being totally consumed with trying to acquire more and more and, hence, neglecting the people and things that really matter in this world. There is nothing wrong with wanting nicer things, but there is something wrong with putting them on a pedastal.
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
For a first meeting (not a first date in my mind), I would like to be in the type of setting that allows both of us to be relaxed and be ourselves. My idea of what that would be is a walk at Balboa Park or some other beautiful location. But we can decide what works best for both of us. And if we are lucky, things will go well and in the end our true first date will be our last first date.
