About Me
Looking for friendship first. Lets see how we get along. Just retired from military, no more sand in my eyes. was a Corpsman who served with the Marines. Moved to Oregon Jan '06 after a recall to Iraq. I have been all over the world, and it is wonderful to be home, finally and for good. I am pensioned so I do a lot of volunteer work. My passion is rockhounding, it's fun, exciting and keeps me in shape. I love to go to collection sites in the backwoods of central Oregon. I plan to start expanding the areas I search for to the Idaho/Oregon border and the coast, makes good for overnight camping.

Just beginning to get into lapidary, I suck at it, I,ve been trying to learn with books, but with little success. So I've started taking a lapidary course. If you like gem cutting/polishing and jewelry making, look no further!.
