I'm a professional with a great sense of direction and ambition. I love what I do and feel as if I'm working to make the world a better place. I remain humble about it, though, and am grateful for the opportunities I've been given. I don't try to be something I'm not and don't feel like I have anything to prove to anyone, which is very liberating and keeps me honest. I travel between Hamilton and Toronto a lot for work, with nice homes in both locations (though I was born and raised in the T-dot, and it will always be my home).
I've journeyed to many exotic locations and have a great sense of my place in the world. A typical vacation would be to visit a local NGO or agricultural cooperative, and speak to a community organization about international human rights initiatives. Ok, it's actually not as boring as it sounds. It's a great way to connect to the local populations and enhance your world view. And if they produce their own wine with a great view of the beach, all the better!
I'm hoping to find someone I can connect with on a spiritual and emotional level, someone who knows what they want out of life. Having a sense of purpose is very sexy. Don't get me wrong - I have a sense of humour and don't take life too seriously, but then again, life is short and I want to get the most out of it. Think you can keep up?
Age is not an issue for me (meaning that it's ok if you're younger), as long as you have a vision of the future and want to move forward with your life. I don't care what you do, I just want to share the best things life has to offer with a solid partner. As for me, I'm 42 (despite what my profile says) and living life to the fullest.

Regrettably, I'm deathly allergic to cats (and to a lesser extent, dogs). I love animals, but if my silly allergies are a deal-breaker, then I'll just have to live with the fact we couldn't met because of them. :(

Being the ultimate romantic, I'd enjoy a quiet dinner so that we could get to know each other more. However, I've also been known to come up with the best first-dates ever, going beyond the usual expectations, with a few quirky tricks up my sleeve. Should we try it?
